Kigali Genocide memorial

The Kigali Genocide Memorial includes three permanent exhibitions, the largest of which documents the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. There is also a children’s memorial and an exhibition on the history of genocidal violence around the world. The education center, gardens, and Genocide Archive of Rwanda contribute a meaningful tribute to those who perished and provide a powerful educational experience for visitors.

Campaign against Genocide Museum

The Campaign Against Genocide Museum is one of the eight museums managed by the Rwanda Cultural Heritage Academy. It is housed in the Parliamentary Building of Rwanda and was inaugurated in 2017 by Paul Kagame to showcase the history of Rwanda during the campaign against the genocide against the Tutsi.

Kandt House Museum

Kandt House Museum is one of the best museums in Kigali. The Institute of National Museums of Rwanda manages it. Dedicated to Richard Kandt, the museum strives to show the evolution of life and describes the flora and fauna of Rwanda. The interrelation between nature and history is the result of a natural museum; it has also the best view of the three mountains and also has the best view of the old Kigali city.
